Found this article from The Calgary Herald in Canada about how senior care related businesses and franchises are growing very quickly in Canada despite the slowing economy.
According to the article some of these companies such as Nurse Next Door Home Health Care Services are reporting franchise inquiries are up by 30% due to many people are looking for new careers after recently loosing their Jobs. Their is also a belief that business is also growing because many families are choosing in home care services to delay putting aging parents in very expensive assisted living facilities. And certainly the demographics of an aging baby boomer population is also very helpful.
